In a previous blog, we discussed the Lathe Tool. Today we will continue on with some of the other 3D solid modification tools. We wil discuss the Extrude Solid, One Rail Sweep Solid and Two Rail Sweep Solid tools, all of which are offered in both ViaCAD® & SharkCAD®.

These three tools will assist in transforming your 2D profiles into solid 3D models. These tools also give you options for controlling height, direction, and shape of your extrusions.

In this week's video blog, we will discuss each of the three sweep and extrusion tools, the options within each tool and how these options will affect the results of the extrusion.
