ViaCAD® & SharkCAD® offer many ways to enter data into your drawingsClicking and dragging objects to draw them as well as using the Data Entry area, are the most common. However, I would like to introduce you to another way to enter data with the Precision Point Drafting tool.

This tool allows you to draw and move objects by simply entering coordinates or lengths and angles and clicking enter. It is a great way to draw if you have a sketch with dimensions  or a floor plan. You can replicate these quickly with precision by simply typing in values.
