Redraw speeds are now up to 12 times faster for large files, while file loading sees an impressive 22-fold boost. Importing PDF and DWG files is now up to five times faster, and printing performance for large designs has been optimized to be up to 25 times faster—making complex projects more manageable than ever.
Expanded Modeling and Design Tools
New features empower users with greater design flexibility. The Arc Slot Polygon Tool allows polygons to be created using arcs as defining edges, supporting more organic shape designs. The integrated ISO Part Library provides direct access to standardized 3D components via TurboCAD Explorer Symbols. Additionally, users can now batch export individual parts from multi-part files, simplifying file management.
For advanced fabrication workflows, SharkCAD® now includes Sheet Metal Tools, offering capabilities such as Base, Flange, Hem, Rolled Hem, and Unbend functions—helping simulate real-world bending and forming processes.
The latest SketchUp importer ensures compatibility with newer versions, automatically applying glass shaders to transparent materials for enhanced realism.
Refined Customization and Interface Enhancements
A revamped custom tools interface now supports larger m×n icon arrays—such as 3×20 or 10×10 layouts—enhancing accessibility and workspace customization. A new edit dialog streamlines tool modifications, providing greater ease in workspace organization and usability.

SharkCAD® and ViaCAD® further enhance precision with new functionalities, including tools for verifying clearance between solids, applying shear transformations to curves, surfaces, and solids, and converting text to ACIS surface faces. SharkCAD® and ViaCAD® now support English, French, and German, ensuring designers across different regions can work comfortably in their preferred language.
