Beginner Tutorials:

One of the most commonly used file types for sending drawings out to people in the PDF and we are excited to announce that in version 12 of our CAD products you can now import PDFs. Not only can they be imported, but our PDF 2D import will convert that 2D PDF into a workable drawing so you can manipulate it.  Below is a video that touches on both the PDF and Adobe Illustrator import capabilities of the program.

Advanced Tutorials:

Importing models and then manipulating them is one of the strengths of ViaCAD and SharkCAD. This is only made more powerful with the addition of the PowerPack, especially when it comes to mesh models such as.STL or.SKP (Sketchup) To be able to work with these mesh models sometimes you will need to convert them to solids. With version 12 PowerPack we offer a Mesh to Analytics tool that will do just that. In the video below we will discuss importing a group of mesh models in a.SKP file type then converting them into solids so that you can use the tools such as chamfer or blend on them.  This video will highlight the Power of the PowerPack focusing on the Mesh to Analytics tool.
