While the PowerPack offers a Thread module, You can still create threads in ViaCAD® if you do not have the PowerPack add-on.

Threads are a big part of mechanical drafting. From fasteners like nuts, screws and bolts, to threaded holes, if you work in the mechanical drafting fields you will need to create threads at some point in your modeling projects.

In this week's video blog, I will demonstrate how to create threads, both interior and exterior, using the Helix Spline tool along with the One Rail Sweep Solid tool.
